Mrs Marsh would approve of these teeth. The Rhino is today's answer to the old style walk behind grass slasher.
A powerful, all terrain, remote controlled mobile vegetation mulching machine with no table manners.
Blackberries, gorse bush, bamboo, old undergrowth, roses, vines, creepers, tea tree, matted dead grass full of dropped dry gumtree branches, old hydrangeas and other overgrown garden plants etc. I have personally cut them all.
If it is plant based and too hard for the ride-on, the Rhino will charge through like an old style army tank and shred anything it's 32 boron manganese serrated blades touch.
This is a compact mower and is probably the smallest flail mower available in Australia offering best access to difficult and crowded terrain.
Don't be fooled, one Rhino does the work of 10 whipper snippers and can punch through much heavier vegetation.
An aching body after 10 hours of snippering while standing on the side of a hill or one hour standing somewhere comfortable while pushing a lever on a remote control having fun. Your call.
If paying people, it's your money.
550 mm wide cut covers the sweet spot between being too big to physically fit in the tight stuff and too small to get the job done efficiently.
-
A slim 600mm in height allows access to areas previously closed to conventional push and ride-on mowers.
Manual vegetation control is now very "old school" and just plain hard physical work.
Maintaining vineyards, solar farms, golf courses, orchards, noxious weed control and boundary fence maintenance has just become effortless and fast.
-
Remote Control. Drives just like a kid's remote-controlled toy car.
Yup, no more sitting in the vibration, dust and noise while getting thrown around.
Stand well back and send it in hard.
Place yourself somewhere comfortable while watching the machine kick and buck as it crosses bumpy ground and tilts to impossible angles.
Hey, be a rebel and sit down with a cup of tea while cutting your grass. You can!

Equipped with the latest model 7.5 HP Loncin 196cc cast iron bore 4 stroke petrol motor.
The new design complies with Euro5 emissions controls and provides plenty of grunt to cut the heavy stuff.
One litre of petrol gives approximately 50 minutes of hard mowing.
-
Cutting height is adjustable from 20mm to 150mm. When set to 20mm the ground is left rather bare.

What is a flail mower and why should I choose this type over a traditional mower?
See the photo of the blades dangling down.
See the shaft they are bolted to?
That shaft spins at 1000 rpm (fast).
Those blades flip out when the shaft spins and they dissect and disrespect everything they touch.
32 blades on the Rhino flail mower vs 2 blades on the Typhoon mowers equals more vegetation cut in the same time and mulched to a much finer grade.
A nice feature included in this machine is a centrifugal clutch, similar to a chain saw. When the motor is idling the blades don't spin, the motor never stalls and the mechanicals are protected against physical shock.

35 degree climbing ability and traction to put a grin on your face.
This machine does serious work while being serious fun.
Off roader? You will wish your jacked up, big booted, double diff locked 4wd could climb like this.
Making the impossible easy.
This machine feels very "planted" and solid as it traverses steep inclines. There is a unique pivoting centre track support only fitted to this model that offers a smoother ride for the machine while increasing the amount of track in contact with the terrain for better traction and control in hectic conditions.
The rubber tracks are steel belted for strength and longevity and designed to last the life of the machine.
The 150 Kg Rhino can even be used to recover the ride-on when it gets stuck.
-
0-3/0-6 km/h max cutting speed with variable speed control.
High speed for the large areas and when in transit, low speed for the gnarly stuff. Mowing grandma's prize roses because you were doing wheelies doesn't go down well.
-
2 x 750 Watt (1 HP) brushless electric track drive motors with 24 volt control system.
Electric drive offers movement even if the engine is not running.
Add the Rhino's powerful electric torque to the extraordinary grip of the tracks, mix in 150 Kg of steel to keep it solidly planted and I have personally pushed over and mulched a patch of 8 ft tall tea trees that were blocking an area of the yard in just minutes. Rather satisfying it was. My landlord loves me now, he has more land to rent out!

55A charging generator driven by the petrol motor keeps the batteries fully charged when mowing ensuring high performance drive at all times. A custom 240v/24v battery charger comes as part of the "kit" to keep the batteries in top condition while the mower is parked.
-
2 x 20 AH 12 volt drive batteries offer backup operation of approximately 20 minutes of silent machine driving time (pulling a small trailer around maybe) before the engine needs to be started to recharge.
-
Compact size.
A Rhino fits in the back of my SUV (50mm too long, I need to fold down the back seats) or easily into any ute.
Steep ramps aren't a problem.
The Rhino's compact size is 970mm w x 900mm l x 600mm h.
Measure up, see if you can drive a Rhino into the back of your car.
If the Rhino fits, no trailer parking needed.
Smaller footprint than the ride-on when parked in the garage too.

Lets talk about the intangibles-
-
How does it make me feel when I walk into my garage and see my Rhino parked ready and waiting?
Damned good thank you very much.
-
How does using a Rhino to do what was once an awful job make me feel?
Invincible.
-
How does it make my mates feel when they see my Rhino?
They run over my prize roses then "can I borrow it?".
-
Do I need to hassle the kids to mow the lawns these days?
Hell no. They fight over whose turn it is and even the wife pulls rank occasionally.
